Bluebonnets. Trike trip April 2023

 Day 1. Hey we are back on the road for another trike trip to see the Texas Bluebonnets.  We have a new ride as well, a 2021 Goldwing Trike #goldwing #hondagoldwing.    

We left our hometown of Live Oak on April 10th headed for Laurel Mississippi where we will stay the first night. The weather had turned off cold as usual for April weather, so we bundled up good and turned on our GLORIOUS SEAT WARMERS.  We didn’t have seat warmers on our old trike.  But lots of  things are a little different because of the new technology on this trike..  we had a time trying to get our music going and the speakers adjusted.   We also havenavigation on this new ride.  Oh goodness, all this new stuff tries our patience and our brains.  

Holiday Inn Express.  Keurig’s in every room and cinnamon rolls for breakfast   

Found this restaurant by accident but glad we did.   #Bluecrabgrill.  Very good.

First stop was coffee around 10:00 the first morning.

We rode The Bear Tooth

 We rode the BearTooth pass in August and it was a beautiful ride.  From there we went on to Yellowstone and toured it for two days.   I was there on my birthday.   From Yellowstone we went to Jackson Hole and ate my birthday supper at The Gunbarrel Restaurant.  Rode across Wyoming and outside Laramie we got hailed and rained on and was freezing and got to our hotel as soon as we could.  We continued on riding toward Oklahoma to stay in The Mabelle in Pawhuska.  Ate supper at The Mercantile and breakfast the next morning.  Rode out headed southeast on into Colorado continued home.  Stopped at the Sweet Farm stand in Montgomery AL.
